All which starts well ends well, and its the same bunch of friends which ended my 2008 in a high note, well they are none other than linton, aaron and weijiang. Met up with them in the afternoon after book out to go ice skating at kallang! Its quite cheap i think $17.50 for 2 hours including rental of skates. Man ice skating is damn addictive! My second time skating and i'm learning quite well, finally understood what tim say about skating on ice and walking on ice. Haha. I skated for the first time. The feeling of moving around freely is damn shiok. Saw this quite attractive girl and linton just had to smash the nice picture of her by saying some insensitive remark. BASKET

Anyway we decided to eat katong laksa. Didn't know it came without chopsticks at first and was desperately looking for it. Haha. Then went to park the car at fort canning before walking down to esplanade not before making a detour to buy tao huay. The walk down took us quite sometime and filled with many people who are trying to find some place to watch the fireworks. The irritating thing when we reach esplanade is that they want to play the lift again, wth spent last year's new year playing lift now 1 year older liao still want to play with the lift. ZZZ. Managed to pursuade them to stop and go out enjoy the nice cold sea breeze and music from some local band. Wouldn't say the songs are good lah but at least add some life to the half Singaporean half BANGALA crowd. Man seriously they are really everywhere and they are those who chiong all the way to the front and stand hear the edge to get the best sea view while others sit on the grass patch some even lay on the grass and takes up so much space.

The funny thing is that when the fireworks started, everybody rushed forward then i stand behind got all the space and also got a good view. Lols all rush forward to squeeze with the BANGALAS. Anyway the fireworks only lasted 8 mins and theres an accompanying music to go along with it! After the fireworks, there is a mad rush for everybody to go to the mrt station, lucky linton drove then we slowly make our way down to orchard. Wah if not i see the huge crowd going into the mrt station i think will really squeeze for an hour or so and sure squeeze until damn sian and damn sticky also. By the time reach his car the jam at orchard lessen already and we headed home, at least in that direction lah. Haha, stopped by al-ahzar but it was full so ends up at KAP for light supper before going home.
