welcome

Tell me what's wrong with society
When everywhere I look I see
Young girls dying to be on TV
Won't stop 'til they've reached their dreams

Diet pills, surgery
Photoshopped pictures in magazines
Telling them how they should be
It doesn't make sense to me

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something is wrong

I guess things are not how they used to be
There's no more normal families
Parents act like enemies
Making kids feel like it's World War III

No one cares, no one's there
I guess we're all just too damn busy
And money's our first priority
It doesn't make sense to me

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something is wrong

Is everybody going crazy?
Is everybody going crazy?

Tell me what's wrong with society
When everywhere I look I see
Rich guys driving big SUV's
While kids are starving in the streets
No one cares
No one likes to share
I guess life's unfair

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something
something is wrong

Is everybody going crazy?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something is wrong

Okay here's a quick recap on what happened on the past 3 days.

Nothing much really happened. Some slightly interesting things is that Gabriel did 8 pull-ups during PE today, which means he PSed Pee Sheng and Isaac. Way to go. We also roughly got back our results for Physics. I got an S grade. Not bad i would think for a 1 hour study. The highest is B, it was supposed to be Vince, but cause Vince isn't in school, i told him he got a D. Haha. Okay other wise its quite a dry friday afternoon with 3 consecutive tutorials...

Saturday is 07/07/07. Nice number. Anyway its they day Life Earth is being broadcasted on TV to about 2billion people worldwide, trying to make known to the world about conservation and saving our planet from ourselves !!! Also yesterday marks the day where all the Sec 4s' uniform group members in SJI go through their rite of passage: The stepping down ceremony and the passing down of the leadership positions to the Sec 3s'.

Met Guo Chong at 4.50pm at 6 ave only to realise i forgot to bring my screwdriver to help him fix his laptop. In the end Guo Chong's father drove me back home to get my screwdriver before sending both of us to SJI for the AP. This year's AP is the most screwed up ( not screwed up but just super duper unlucky ) and the funniest.

The first funny thing starts at the very beginning of the parade where the NCC air supporting contingent march in and 'henta khaki' over a puddle of water !!! Next up were the fly pass of the National Flag during the guess-of-honor's speech. Also during the speech, a big golden retriever ran into the parade. And for the first time in 6 years of AP, a flag-bearer from the colours party almost fainted, though he stood his ground, he was being led off by Mr Heng. He collapsed immediately after being pulled out of the parade. The last thing which went wrong was the last post during sunset where the trumpeters went off tune !!! What a memorable way to send off all the sec4s...

After the parade, in the NCC tradition of SJI, all were made to fall in at the parade square and push up position. A few of my part mates and I went to have a look to see what are this year's batch of Sec4's are up to. I didn't stay to watch all the Sec 4's having fun giving out their last few commands: KNOCK IT DOWN !!! It was real fun as it brings back the memories of suffering 3 years and finally in our final year after our last AP, we practically messed up the air room, pouring everything on the floor, from uniforms to wooden guns, to army boots and many others. The whole room was a mess and we tao-pok almost every part mate...

The big group of about 15 of us went to Newton Hawker Centre to eat and thats where i help Guo Chong change his laptop hard-disk. He was so dumb. He turned the screw clockwise instead of anti-clockwise !!! Ate Laska and it cost a whopping 4 bucks. Quite expensive but very delicious. Guess its still worth it...

Memories of our lives in SJI...
