Wishing everybody a Happy Chinese New Year

Well, the only thing i don't really like about Chinese New Year is that, i have to be very buzy spring cleaning my house. Argh, i'm dead beat. After not celebrating CNY last year due to mourning of my grandmother, CNY this year suddenly feels very void and weird. Although still doing the usual things like spring cleaning, buying of new year goodies and stuff, the atmosphere seems very empty. As a matter of fact, i wouldn't feel like celebrating CNY this year. I was "pressured" by my parents to buy new year clothings yesterday !!! Haha. Thinking of it, its not as if anyone's comming to my house for CNY.

Friday was chinese new year celebration in cjc. But we still had classes still 11am and a list of tutorials to be completed!!! What kind of holiday is that? After that we went to the PAC for a performance brought together by the guitar club, the dance club, odac and several others... Its was a nice performance overall, with a video montage by the chinese society. Odac sang song as usual but the lyrics are funny ( tsk, someone tripped and almost fell after the performance ) Haha. The performance by the drama club on the other hand was abit ... DOTs... Haha.

Linton and i actually planned to swim but i realise i left my key at home and nobody is at home !!! Went to prata with him and stayed at his house till about 5pm. Played need for speed carbon and dota. I was so tired that i fell asleep when linton started chatting with cher ( I shan't comment on that ). After that his parents came home and i left soon after. Haha. The night was spent at orchard buying new year clothes. Haizzz, why new year is so troublesome...

Oh yeah, i got this phone call on friday night from sony ericsson. Guess what, they gave me the quotation for fixing my K700i. The price they quote is $300 !!! #@*% $300 bucks i can buy a new and better phone !!! But crap lah, i like my phone a lot, and i still dunno should i repair or buy a new one. The phone had a lot of sentimental value in it. It was dropped into mud, into the Toiletbowl, on the ice, rolled down a hill... I also almost lost it twice !!! It had also followed me everywhere through my ups and downs, from my last Annaul Parade in SJI when i'm in sec 4 onwards.

Saturday. Woot, is crazy shopping and spring cleaning my house. Woke up at 8am just to go NTUC to help parents to buy new year goodies. Woah, we filled up a whole trolley full of goodies and we only paided $6!!! Yeah S~I~X bucks only, not joking !!! After that we then spring clean non-stop till 5pm. Crap, i'm really tired now but i shan't sleep tonight. Went to my grandfather's house in the evening for reunion dinner. Well, met my uncles and cousins there duh, but its long since i last met them, been too buzy to even chat with my cousins. As usual the younger generation have a table to oursleves and we enjoyed oursleves by eating and watching Best Bet on channel 8.

After that not really sumptuous dinner, we decided to walk around the estate as our parents are all engaged in talking. We went all the way to my cousin's old house. Visited the temple and the shophouses which i bet he haven seen for the past 7 to 8 years !!! He was supprised everything has changed alot, there are new pathways, new playgrounds, even the rabbits at the temple was gone. The dragon which sprays mist of holy water also changed, it was so old that it sprayed droplets of water instead of mist, making everybody wet.

Finally, we stocked up on sparkles and decided to use them tomorrow for our rockets. Its have almost became a tradition as we did it year after year doing crazy stuff with sparkles. We acutally decided to make a bomb from sparkles but after that news, haizzz. How can we be creative when we are always restricted in the way we think !?!?!?! After that incident in which the rocket flew at me and left me a scar across my right chest, i'm gonna try it again, no fear !!! I dun think i'm gonna sleep tonight. *Yawn*, i guess i'm gonna game overnight or find someone to chat with. Its almost 12am now and i'm already dead beat, gosh. Haha. Cya for now, i going out to buy some plants.
